Hulk Hogan's aiming high when he points to Chris Hemsworth as the only actor that will do when it comes to playing Hogan in a movie. Hey, no one ever accused Hogan of not thinking too much of himself! The Hulkster apparently see's some similarities in himself and in one of the new generation of hunks to grace the screen in the last few years, Chris Hemsworth.
According to USA Today on Aug. 19, Hogan says nothing about Hemsworth looks, but more about his acting, “We need a serious actor that knows what he's doing,” the Hulkster piped in. This biopic is in the early stages, but Hogan saw a four-page treatment and approved it to go forward.
The story of Hulk Hogan's life could grace the big screen someday down the line and the only one to fill his spandex red and yellow pants is the "Avengers" Hemsworth, according to Hogan. By the time this biopic gets off the ground Hemsworth may be too old for spandex as this project is so far away and at the early stages of development, just four pages worth. Here's US Weekly reports Hulk saying about this project:
"The truth is...two kids that are writers in L.A., hot young writers, they did a four-page treatment, and I'm telling you they nailed it -- they nailed it like they were living in my shoes -- and I gave them the green light to go ahead and write the first pass," he explains. "But that's all it is."
He said he ran into a couple of folks from TMZ who asked if he'd ever do a biopic about his life and he flippantly said, "It's already in development" starting the rumor mill to roll. He did cite Hemsworth as his first and only pick to step in and play him in the movie, this he said during a recent interview.
