News hit the web today via PWINSIDER, that Hulk Hogan's contract with TNA Wrestling is set to expire on October 1st, and the Hulkster is said to be unhappy with the company at the moment. Hogan's discontent reportedly goes back to TNA releasing his daughter Brooke Hogan last month, without informing Hogan himself prior and not allowing him to handle the situation personally. It is unclear at this time whether or not Hogan will be with TNA past October 1st.
Also Hogan's line of communication with TNA President Dixie Carter has thinned down recently, with the recent 'IMPACT' tapings in Cincinnati being the first time that Hogan, Carter and TNA Executive Producer Eric Bischoff had met face-to-face in quite awhile.
Pro Wrestling Examiner's Perspective: Hogan could certainly remain with TNA in some capacity, but the pro wrestling icon's presence in the company has not done a lot to help them to gain momentum. You can not blame Hulk as he has valiantly tried, even stepping into the ring on a few occasions on a few occasions with physical limitations.
Hogan's involvement has certainly develop their weekly Spike TV show 'IMPACT' but the bottom line for TNA has only inched up marginally since he signed on with Eric Bischoff in 2009. Hogan has also endured a lot of personal drama in the last few years with sex tape scandal and a nasty divorce that played out in the tabloids so it would be interesting to see what his next move would be if he left TNA Wrestling. Obviously this story will certainly stir up some conversation of Hogan returning to WWE in some form, but that is a question, more than a certainty.
