According to the Wrestling Observer, Pro Wrestling icon Hulk Hogan returned to the ring in a surprise match yesterday in Nottingham, England during the TNA Maxixmum Impact Tour. The originally advertised match for the live event saw a TNA World Heavyweight Championship Match with Bobby Roode defending against Cowboy James Storm. That match ended with disqualification.
A new match was announced on the spot. In a Six Man Tag Match with Roode teamed with Kurt Angle and Bully Ray to take on Storm, STING, and Hulk Hogan. Hogan did not take any bumps in the match, but did participate in the finish where he gave Roode the big boot. Storm then hit Hogan's Leg Drop for the pinfall.
This may be one of the last times that Hogan whose considered to be Pro Wrestlng's biggest legend, will wrestle in Europe. Hogan underwent extensive surgeries on his back in the last few years, which have inhibited what he can do physically in the ring. Hogan whose in his 50's now, has been very vocal about his role in TNA not to being a wrestler but more of a producer for the WWE alternative promotion. Hogan has stepped into the ring for TNA Wrestling, most recently at the Bound For Glory Pay Per View in October.
TNAWrestling's Maxixmum Impact Tour rolls on this week with a event tonight in Manchester and an IMPACT TV tapings in London on Saturday. Fans in England can purchase tickets and get more info through TNAWrestling.com.
