Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff could be leaving TNA Wrestling

The legendary Hulk Hogan and former WCW boss Eric Bischoff could be on their way out at TNA Wrestling in the next few weeks. As the company begins it’s ramp up to their annual Bound For Glory extravaganza, Hogan and Bischoff’s contracts are set to expire with the company in October. TNA taped several weeks of IMPACT this past week. In scene filmed for the September 22nd edition of IMPACT, Hogan closes the show by saying it’s time for the younger talent on the TNA roster to take the ball and that the following week’s show will be his last IMPACT for TNA. The next IMPACT tappings take place place in Knoxville,TN. The IMPACT shows taped in Tennessee will air in October before Bound For the Glory.

WWE Network could feature Wrestlemania and othe Big 4 Pay Per Views

This a complete 360 from the widely reported pla by TNA to have Hogan have a very rare match with his old WCW foe, Sting at BFG. This match up with both wrestlers in their 50’s and both with lingering injuries, would not be an instant classic but it would surely have the marquee value that a TNA main event has not had in years. Hogan whose undergone many serious back surgeries recently, wrestled once on IMPACT in 2010.

The Hogan and Bischoff regime in TNA Wrestling has been a rough on based on fans response. The Hogan/Biscoff tandem has not made the number 2 company a competitor with WWE. Hogan joined the company in 2009, bringing some intial attention to the brand. Yet the company's Pay Per View numbers and live attendance has not improved in any serious way.

IMPACT under Hogan and Bischoff had  a failed stint on Monday nights when it went head to head with Monday ratings wrestling kind, RAW.  Spike TV which airs IMPACT, made the call to move the show back to Thursday nighhts.
