Are you experiencing a new schedule as a college student and are you finding that weight is stealthily adding itself to your frame? We all know that college students gain weight: much of it might be due to losing that familiar routine that you were used to as a high school student.
Hula hooping is easy
You don't even need shoes to hula hoop and you can do it in your dorm room and while listening to music.
Hula hooping is a great way to have fun and lose weight and get muscle definition you never knew was possible. The key here, I believe, isn't just the hula hooping but the weights added to the hula hoop. Unweighted hula hoops are hard to spin unless you're already good at it because there's such a light resistance available: people give up on the whole exercising thing because it's so hard to do.
The weighted hoops--with three pounds of weight added--are easy to get spinning and will burn about 100 calories in ten minutes. It sounds contrary, but the added weight actually makes it easier to spin. Try it and you'll see. You won't believe the muscle tone you'll achieve not to mention the lost weight. You'll be most impressed by the abdominal muscles you'll reveal than you will be about the lost weight. Check out the attached video and see what other exercises athletic trainers have dreamed up.
As I said you'll be way more happy about your ripped abs than you will be about your lower weight.
