Tonight during the 84th Academy Awards® ceremony Rob Legato, Joss Williams, Ben Grossman and Alex Henning have just won Oscars® for Visual Effects featured in the filmHugo.
Hugo, a film directed by Martin Scorsese and screenplay by John Logan, is a mystical, magical film that will transport you to the microcosm of a train station in 1930’s Paris. Hugo is a young orphan that is desperate to find a message from his deceased father and in turn discovers the secret of a grumpy toy store owner and his connection to the very beginnings of the film industry.

This is Robert Legato’s second Academy Award® win and third nomination. His previous Oscar® was won in:
- 1998 – Best Effects, Visual Effects for Titanic
This is Ben Grossman, Alex Henning and Joss William’s first Academy Award® win and nomination.
