'Hugo' wins Oscar® for Best Art Direction

 Tonight during the 84th Academy Awards® ceremony Dante Ferretti (Production Design) and Francesca Lo Schiavo (Set Decoration) have just won Oscars® for Best Achievement in Art Direction for their film Hugo.

This is Dante Ferretti’s second Academy Award® win and tenth nomination. His previous Oscars® were won in:

  • 2005 – Best Achievement in Art Direction for The Aviator
  • 2008 – Best Achievement in Art Direction for Sweeny Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street
