Hugh Hefner will marry again (Hefner’s Life in Photos & Video of Fiancé)

Founder of Playboy magazine, Hugh Hefner, 84 proposed to his girlfriend Crystal Harris, 24, over the Christmas weekend.

“When I gave Crystal the ring, she burst into tears,” Hefner said.  “This is the happiest Christmas weekend in memory.

Hefner has been married and divorced twice. He has four children. This will be Harris' first marriage.

It was on June 25, 1949, when Hefner married Mildred Williams just a couple of weeks after high school.  He was married to Williams for ten years before they divorced in 1959. They had two children, Christie and David Paul.

On July 1, 1989, Hefner married Kimberly Conrad, Playboy’s 1989 Playmate of the Year.

He and Kimberley had two sons, Marston and Cooper, but then separated after eight years of marriage.   Conrad and Hefner remained separated for eleven years until divorce papers were filed in L.A. County Superior Court on September 4, 2009.

“At the time of the separation, I was happy to get a divorce … I only remained married for the sake of the children at her request,” Hefner said.

Conrad and the couple’s two sons had been living in the house next door to the Playboy mansion.  However when Hefner sold the house, Conrad filed a lawsuit against him claiming he owed her $5 million.  Hefner had reportedly already given Conrad approximately $12 million since their separation and $20,000 per month of spousal support.

Reminiscing about the life he and Conrad shared together Hefner spoke about his ability to be monogamous.

"We were together eight-and-a-half years and I was faithful all that time," Hefner said.  "Fidelity wasn't a problem for me. I was ready. Quite frankly, I got married after I had a stroke and I think I was escaping into what I perceived as a safe harbor. And I really felt that marriage was going to be the epilogue to my life.  I wasn't tempted by other women. I felt older then than I do now.  But I think that men are less capable of monogamy than women. I think that's built in because the female of the species is generally made for nesting and for raising the next generation."

It's basic Evolution 101. Women have what men want. Women can afford to be choosey. They want the best man for their off-spring, a man with plentiful resources and good breeding genes (if they want to have children). It's in their genes to be attracted to men with good resources. Men know this, that's why they like to flaunt their income levels to women. Don't hate because Women go for it. Men like it that way, and women do too. Though, I doubt she will let this elderly man breed because after 35 years old the males' sperm deteriorates. Even sperm banks close the door on males over 35 years of age.
