Hugh Hefner has finally married Crystal Harris. People Magazine confirmed that Hefner, 86, and Harris, 26, got married at the Playboy Mansion on New Year's Eve.
The founder and chief creative officer of Playboy Enterprises Tweeted,
"Crystal & I married on New Year's Eve at the Mansion with Keith as my Best Man. Love that girl!"
Harris shared a picture of herself on img.ly with the words,
“Mirror shot of my pale pink "mermaid" dress ;).”
Hefner also made another post on Twitter saying,
“Happy New Year from Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Hefner!”
Underneath the post is a picture of the newlyweds. Hefner wore a silk purple shirt, black tuxedo and of course, his captain's hat. The playboy model wore her powder pink mermaid dress.
Harris shared a photo of the diamond ring, and it is indeed “beautiful” as she stated.
I hope the couple is happy together. Back in 2011, Harris called of their wedding days before the ceremony was to take place. In June, the couple got back together. Harris Tweeted,
"Yes I am his #1 girl again. Yes we are happy. Hope that clears up any confusion! Xo."
Why was Harris a runaway bride back in 2011? Harris stated that there were multiple reasons. In an interview with ET's Chris Jacobs, she revealed that a major reason had to do with her freedom. She didn't have much of it because of the strict rules that came with living in the Playboy Mansion.
While Harris admitted that she liked several things about living in the Playboy Mansion, she also had many dislikes, including a strict curfew of 9 p.m. as well as not being allowed to leave town to see family and friends. She also stated,
"The mansion schedule is so strict -- you know, movie night, home by 6 o'clock, every Friday, Saturday and Sunday for movie nights."
Harris also shared another reason she couldn't bring herself to marry Hefner the first time. She said,
"I can honestly say I was not the only woman in Hef's life... I didn't feel comfortable in my heart knowing that...a marriage is between two people and that's not what our relationship was."
At the time, Harris did say that she still loved Hefner. Perhaps it is true love since they stayed friends and ended up marrying at the end.
I just wonder whether Harris will continue having to share her husband with other women. Harris had Tweeted that she was Hefner's #1 girl, making it sound like there were still other women.
