Although walker fans were more than happy to see “The Walking Dead” back on AMC, they were in for a shocker when Daryl decided to take off with his brother Merle. Fans are now wondering when Daryl will reunite with the prison gang and how. On Tuesday, Feb. 12, Entertainment Weekly and Spoil the Dead forum released spoilers that will answer these questions.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Glen Mazzara promised fans that Daryl would not be gone for too long and that they would still see plenty of him. But how much is ‘not too long’ and plenty? Spoil the Dead forum can answer that!
According to their sources, a full summary of episode 10, “Home,” has been leaked and within it are details of Daryl’s return! If these spoilers are true, Mazzara was not kidding and fans are going to see Daryl reunite with Rick as soon as the next episode.
In the episode “Home,” Daryl helps a family escape several walkers. This angers Merle and they begin to argue. After exchanging a few words, Daryl heads back into the woods and Merle asks where he is going. Daryl replies that he is going back to the prison, realizing what he gave up and how much his friends will need him. Merle follows behind him.
Bonus spoiler: Daryl will be arriving just in time to save Rick’s life, as the prison has been overrun by walkers thanks to the Governor.
Season 3, episode 9, “Home,” premieres on AMC Sunday, Feb. 17.
