After you have a child, you start to realize how quickly children outgrow their clothes, and how soon they lose interest in those expensive toys and playthings. That’s why buying baby gear on consignment is so very brilliant. You are saving the earth by reusing, and helping your budget by purchasing items at a discount.
So, if you are a new mama in the Denver area, be sure to check out the Just Between Friends consignment sale this weekend at the National Western Complex near downtown Denver. The consignment sale is one of the largest in Denver and is a great place to find big-ticket items at a fraction of the cost.
They are expecting more than 65,000 items at this year’s sale, according to Tracey Gifford, the organizer for the Denver JBF Sale. You can expect to find brand name clothing, strollers, cribs, toys, swimsuits, baby equipment, maternity clothes, shoes, movies, books, car seats, bedroom furniture, highchairs and more at prices that are fifty to ninety percent below retail.
The JBF sale is open starting Friday, March 12th from 10am to 7pm. Get there early to find the best deals and to find highly-desirable items such as gliders and strollers. The sale will be open on Saturday, March 13th from 9am to 5pm. On Sunday, March 14th, many items will be half off from 10am to 3pm.
Entrance to the sale is free, but you will have to pay $5.00 to park, so you might want to carpool if you can. Although if you are shopping for large items, be sure you have enough room in your trunk to fit your purchases!
