A Tennessee witness reports watching a "huge ball of light" moving silently just a few hundred feet above Route 386 that made a sharp turn and moved out of sight, according to June 30, 2011, testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The witness alerted another person who was driving just ahead along the same route.
"There was no sound from it, yet it was clearly over a few hundred feet up," the witness stated. "It made a sharp turn up and out after it went out of sight past us. The light was bigger than any engine could of created."
Route 386 is a four-lane freeway in both Davidson and Sumner counties, TN, also known as Vietnam Veterans Boulevard.
No images or videos were included with the MUFON report, which was filed on June 30, 2011. The event occurred on June 29, 2011. No town name was mentioned in the public portion of the report. The above quotes were edited for clarity.
Tennessee is a current UFO ALERT 4 rating, with a higher than average number of UFO sightings nationally. Tennessee had 13 reports in May 2011 - while California had 55 UFO reports - the highest reporting state in the nation.

TN, June 29, 2011 - A hugh ball of light, size of an aircraft itself passing overhead less then 300ft above. MUFON Case # 29796.
I was driving along 386 when i saw ball of light just appear right above the interstate it sat for a few seconds then was come my direction. I called my friend who was driving just infront of me and we both slowed down to 45 talking trying to figure out what we both were seeing.
There was no sound from it yet it was clearly over a few hundred feet up. It made a sharp turn up and out after it went out of sight past us. The light was bigger then any engine could of created. I beleive it was a ufo, i couldnt get the picture out of my head. I know somethings out there and, i think we need to know the truth.
