Saturday, August 23, 2014, Atlanta’s newest attraction opened. The College Hall of Fame had its grand opening. Mayor Kasim Reed, city officials, dignitaries, citizens, and enthusiast were on hand to witness the occasion. The hall of fame and museum is devoted to college football. The hall of fame is located in the tourist district which is located adjacent to Centennial Olympic Park, Coca Cola, Center for Civil & Human Rights and more.
The College Football Hall of Fame was established in 1951. The Hall was launched to be a sports shrine and highlighting the game’s greatest players and coaches. The National Football Foundation (NFF) with technology in this era, the new Hall will entertain visitors with many interactive experiences. The Hall is located at 246 Marietta St, Atlanta, GA 30313. The 95,000 SF hall of fame building will provide a game day experience for college football enthusiast. The parking deck is well equipped to handle 400 automobiles. In Atlanta the price tag is $66.5 million dollars for the Hall. It was in 2009, when the Atlanta Hall Management, Inc. And the NFF, developed a partnership to develop and build the new Hall of Fall in the city in the forest, Atlanta. The center was formerly located in South Bend, Indiana. The location was in an area where renovation was taking place.
