The long-rumored Facebook phone has never really gone away. Now there's buzz that Facebook will partner with HTC to make this phone a reality dubbed for now as the HTC UL Opera.
What makes this supposed Facebook phone more interesting is the fact that it's already benchmarked in NenaMark2 with specs showing a 1,280 x 720p display and a Qualcomm Adreno (TM) 305 graphics processor.
Meanwhile, a leading technology and gadgets news site has a very interesting report regarding this device's possible additional features and specs. You may also want to read that site's spicy report here.
To note, HTC in the past, had already built a phone with deep Facebook integration called HTC ChaCha. That particular smartphone make it simple to stay in touch with your friends using Facebook Chat and Messages on your phone. It features a physical QWERTY keyboard and dual cameras (front and back) , including a 2.6-inch display with 480 x 320 resolution landscape touchscreen. Unfortunately, that phone didn't give HTC much of a success, sales-wise.
Anyways, HTC may be more successful truly partnering with Facebook for a Facebook phone this time around. What do you think? Feel free to share your thoughts about it in the comment section below.
