Those of you in San Francisco who have been excited about Sprint's first WiMax tablet, the HTC EVO View 4G, will be happy to know that the Android tablet has hit and passed through the FCC which means that a release later this month on June 24th is indeed going to go down.
The FCC filing doesn't reveal much at all but that's not a problem considering we already know all about Sprint's 4G version of the HTC Flyer.
It's going to feature a single-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and will have 32GB internal memory, 1GB RAM and a microSD card slot for additional space. It'll also come with the digital pen which will be used in conjunction with the HTC Scribe technology that the HTC EVO View 4G employs.
The HTC EVO View 4G is going to run you $400 with a new two year contract and will also require a data plan. Those data plans will start at $34.99 per month for 3GB.
Certainly not cheap by any stretch of the imagination but those looking for a solid 7-inch tablet will probably want to give it a look.
Again, it hits stores in San Francisco on June 24th, the same day the EVO 3D arrives on Sprint.
