A few days ago, a device called the HTC Shooter got benchmarked and many assumed (and hoped) that the device was in fact Sprint’s successor to the original HTC EVO 4G, the HTC EVO 3D, a device that the carrier is expected to announce next week at CTIA.
The specifications of the Shooter were impressive. In case those in San Francsico missed it, it possessed a display with 960 x 540 resolution, a 1.2GHz dual-core MSM8660 Snapdragon processor, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, an Adreno 220 graphics processor, and of course, compatibility with Sprint’s WiMax network.
Well, it appears that these specifications were the real deal because a whole host of features have leaked out ahead of Sprint’s announcement at CTIA.
The HTC EVO 3D will employ a 4.3″qHD 960 x 450 Autostereoscopic 3D display, a 1.2GHz dual-core MSM8660 Qualcomm processor, Android 2.3 Gingerbread with HTC Sense over the top, 4GB of RAM, 1GB ROM, dual rear 5 MP cameras, a 1.3 rear mega pixel camera, and a 1730mAh battery.
A dream come true for many that were hoping for a worthy successor to the original EVO. Of course, these specifications aren’t official but look for the device to sport these specs when it arrives next week.
Anyone in San Francisco or elsewhere going to make this their phone as soon as possible?
Thought so.
