The Houston Tennis Association Houston Open has named the seeds for the super championship juniors ages 12-14, which begins Saturday, March 9, at four sites. Headquarters is Lee LeClear Tennis Center, 9506 S. Gessner.
Top seeds in the two draws of the super championship boys 14 singles are Jack Wang, McAllen, and Andres Almazan and Jack Cohen, Austin. The top seeds in the girls 14s are Madison Hwang, Frisco, and Jessica Nifong, League City.
There are multiple seeds in some age divisions because the draws are limited to 64 players. Tournament entrants total 299.
Top seed in the super championship boys 12s is Nathan Arimilli, Austin, and the No. 1 seed in the super championship girls 12s is Gabriela Cusano, Austin.
Finals of most divisions are scheduled for Monday, March 11. Viewing is free.
