WHAT is the HSSV Wag N Walk? Well, it is an optional fun 5K  or  2.5 walk with your poochie pal and fellow canines and their companions.

WHY have a Wag N Walk?  Well, let’s see. How about:

WIN PRIZES! (Including an Apple Ipad! How about an XboX? A Nintendo WII? How does a year’s supply of dog food sound?  )

EDUCATIONAL.  Learn all kinds of neat canine things from the HSSV Staff and vendors

HELP Dogs in Need. Proceeds go to help support the wonderful work at the HSSV

WHEN?         THIS Saturday, October 2, 2010

WHERE?         Humane Society Silicon Valley,

                        Animal Community Center,

                        901 Ames Avenue, Milpitas, CA 95035

Wag N Walk Start and Finish will occur at HSSV Animal Community Center (5K/3mi route; short route 2.5K/1.5mi)
Vendor Booths, Entertainment, Dog Agility Demonstrations, etc.will take place at HSSV Animal Community Center campus.

Times:
Check-in:  8:00 a.m. - 9:45 a.m.
* HSSV Animal Community Center, 901 Ames Avenue, Milpitas

Walk Start:  10:00 a.m.
* All Walkers depart together at 10:00 a.m.
* The Walk should take approximately 1 hour to complete
* Walk route will close behind final Walkers
* All Walkers will start and return to HSSV Animal Community Center, where all vendor booths, entertainment, etc. will take place

Vendor Booths, Entertainment, Dog Agility, etc.:  8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
* A Dog's Life - Dog agility demonstrations - with opportunities for Walkers and their Animal Companions to participate
