HSLDA offers "The Compelling Case for Home Education" seminar FREE

The Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA) @home e-vents are webinars that families can attend from home. This series, available all year round, gives families the convenience of attending from home while still having access to experienced and dynamic speakers ready to deliver information and take questions -- almost as good as being there in person!

All events require registration, and usually also require a fee. However, on April 7, as a special gift, the HSLDA is offering "The Compelling Case for Home Education" absolutely free!

The webinar description (taken right from the web site):

"If you or a friend are interested in giving homeschooling a try, or if you’re tired of hearing from family members that you’re crazy for giving it a shot, check out this e-vent with HSLDA Attorney Mike Donnelly. You, your friends, and your loved ones can finally get some answers to see why homeschooling may be the best option for you and your children. Be sure to bring your questions! Mike Donnelly will share from his years of homeschooling experience to show you why homeschooled students excel in academics and to debunk the myths you’ve heard about homeschooling families."

Simply visit HSLDA on the web and register for this free event. While you're there, check out some of the other excellent titles being offering in the coming months. These include:

  • Managing Media in the Home
  • How to Handle Social Worker Contacts
  • Home Instruction in Michigan
  • The Science Solution

...and many more.

For additional research and articles about the success of homeschooling, you are invited to browse the other articles at National Homeschooling Examiner and Jacksonville Homeschooling Examiner. Dr. Marie-Claire Moreau can also be found at Quick Start Homeschool, where broader homeschooling topics are explored along with curriculum information, a wide variety of printables, and information about all of the other aspects of the homeschooling life.
