Hewlett-Packard has scheduled another HP Expert Day for 24 hours beginning August 27 at 7:00 a.m. Pacific Time, ending the following day at 7:00 a.m.
HP Expert Day events are 24-hour tech support marathons held on the HP Consumer Support Forums. HP experts on laptop computers, desktop computers, tablets, printers and all-in-ones will monitor the company's forums and answer questions, even for products that are out of warranty, and it's all free.
According to HP, "Expert Days give you a chance to talk directly with the people who designed and made the HP products you’re using, or who wrote the manuals for them. This is your chance to connect with the best and brightest minds at HP for free."
While HP employees called HP Ambassadors (signified by the Pro label) always monitor the forums, on scheduled HP Expert Days, the company devotes many more HP staff to answer questions and help resolve problems. HP Expert Day events take place in several languages around the world approximately four times a year.
HP encourages everyone who owns HP products - desktops, laptops or printers - to post their toughest questions to the HP forums on Expert Day. HP promises more than 150 employees devoted to answering your questions in the forums on Expert Day, and they request that you click the option to receive an email when a response is posted to your question, so you can go back and answer any follow-up questions right away.
