Howie Mandel: America's got talent, but Hussong's Cantina's got great food

Funnyman Howie Mandel was spotted at Hussong's Cantina inside The Shoppes at Mandalay Place earlier this week.

The “America's Got Talent” judge enjoyed the fish tacos before Tweeting, “Great food.” Before leaving the restaurant, Mandel posed for a picture with Hussong’s Cantina Chef Noe Alcala.

An Ensenada, Mexico landmark since 1892, Hussong’s Cantina opened its first U.S. location in January 2010 at The Shoppes at Mandalay Place. Since the Vegas cantina’s grand opening, Hussong’s has quickly become a celebrity favorite, attracting everyone from Luxor headliner Carrot Top to singer-songwriter Jewel to its tables to enjoy its authentic Baja cuisine.

Hussong’s Cantina is open daily from 11 a.m.-11 p.m. and features one of the best locals’ specials in town: Hussong’s weekly Uno, Dos, Tres Thursdays. Every Thursday from 7-9 p.m., Las Vegas locals can enjoy “Uno Taco, Dos Equis Beer and Tres Agaves Margarita” for just $3.
