However the season goes, Cincinnati is a winning tailgate city

Reuters recently ranked Cincinnati USA #4 in a list of Top NFL cities for tailgating parties (Ohio has bragging rights for two cities in that top four - Cleveland is #2). We don't just limit our parking lot feasts to the riverfront - a handful of area universities and an impassioned high school gridiron scene provides a smorgasbord of tailgating excuses. No matter how our teams are doing, at least we know the food will be a fantastic fall experience.

Another accolade - The Queen of Tailgate Nation - went to Nadine Mesch, a Cincinnati mother of four earlier this year. Mesch won Football Nation's first tailgate recipe contest with her Grilled Baby-back Ribs with Harpoon "Magic" Sauce. The sauce is made with contest sponsor Harpoon Brewery's Munich Dark beer.

Whether you're a seasoned veteran, or jumping on the Wagoneer, there's uniquely local opportunities to expand your tailgating playbook.
