Conan O'Brien won't be scoring an interview with King of All Media Howard Stern before The Tonigth Show

Howard Stern says even the offer of a private jet ride from Sirius XM co-worker Rosie O'Donnell isn't enough to get him to fly out to L.A. to appear on Conan O'Brien's last week on The Tonight Show.
Reps for Conan O'Brien's Tonight Show contacted Howard Stern last week to ask him to appear on the show. Howad Stern originally stated that he might have said "yes" if the process didn't entail hopping a plane to Los Angeles.

"The answer is no," said Howard Stern. "Because I'm lazy...I just don't want to go out to L.A."
Howard Stern received a rash of phone calls and e-mails encouraging him to take the Tonight Show appearance. Even Howard Stern's wife Beth O told him to do it.
A Howard Stern appearance on The Tonight Show would have meant huge ratings, but also a chance for Howard Stern to lambaste Jay Leno (whom he's hated for years) on The Tonight Show stage.
On Tuesday morning's Howard Stern Show broadcast, Stern officially the kibosh on both Conan O'Brien and Rosie O'Donnell's offers.
“I’ll fly my ass all the way out there and I guarantee I won't get in the door,” said Howard, stating his belief that NBC executives would never let a Howard Stern Tonight Show apperance happen.
"It's going to be one of those showbiz moments that should have happened but never did," said Howard Stern with resignation.
Conan O'Brien has said that there are lots of "surprise" guests still to come on his final Tonight Show week.

Aw, man! I'm hoping that he's publicly saying no so it will be a huge surprise. C'mon, Howard!
Liz-I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he's a "surprise" guest. It's true that NBC would probably REALLY not want him to be on--but it would be an EVENT if he did it--even if he just did it by satellite feed!!!

you lying old queen...your REALLY gonna turn down a tv appearance? You people are fools, Howie is just a sad old queen that is irrelavant now that it isnt the 90s anymore...enjoy your 3 hours a day and 4 days a week you zombies...your hero sucks and you know it!
