The Howard Stern Show studio got a face lift this weekend, but don't worry. It looks nothing like William Shatner.

Stern and co-host Robin Quivers said they almost didn't recognize their redesigned "office space" Monday morning, and then heaped praise on set designer James Yates who has previously designed studios for NBC and CNBC.
The new design features wraparound wall reading 'The Howard Stern Show,' a boatload of trippy mood lighting and, of course, a brand new couch.
"We got [couch] that from a brothel," joked Howard Stern Monday morning. "Yeah, a w***ehouse loaned it to us. This was built for all the w***s."
Stern says the latest makeover is just the first step in a complete studio overhaul. More design updates are scheduled for 2012 including an update to the ‘Wheel of Sex’ area.
