Howard Stern Show now available on demand through Sirius XM player

Howard Stern Show fans are finally going to be able to listen to their favorite satellite radio broadcasts on demand.

Sirius XM has added a new "Beta Player" to their online listening system with an "on demand" feature that currently has the most recent nine episodes of the Howard Stern Show available for playback. What might sound like no biggie, is a major biggie for Sterniacs. While "on demand" is far from a new concept, Sirius XM has lagged behind other media outlets with their technological updates and accessibility. A visit to any Howard Stern Show fan bulletin board or Twitter feed inevitably contains a desperate plea from someone begging:

"Does anyone know how to record the live shows? Anyone? Anyone?"

The on demand episodes are available for 2-3 weeks at a time, and Sirius XM says they are adding more programming to their on demand catalogue every day.
