The Howard Stern Show for Wednesday, February 27, 2013 featured the following highlights:
1. Donald Trump again: Trump is becoming a Howard Stern Show regular. He called in Wednesday to address a statement by last week's guest billionaire Mark Cuban. Cuban appeared in Studio 69 last Wednesday to promote the new season of "Shark Tank" and apparently stated that "ST" beat Trump's "Apprentice" in the ratings. Trump wasn't having it and called in with official Nielsen statistics to dispute the claim.
Stern also quizzed Trump about the recent resignation of Miss Delaware Teen USA Melissa King following an amateur porn scandal. Trump said that the Miss Universe Organization gave her the option to resign, but likely would have fired her if she hadn't. Read the full story here
2. Tim Sabean's "State of the Station" address: Sirius XM VP and donut lover Tim Sabean delivered a "State of the Station" address Wednesday proclaiming the Howard Stern Show's continuing dominance as a platform for bestselling books, music, television and film. He closed by stating:
“In closing, if radio is the Empire State Building, Howard Stern is the King Kong that climbs all over it. God bless Howard 100 and Howard 101 and God bless The Howard Stern Show.”
Sabean then took questions from the Stern Show paparazzi, who grilled him about last year's Sh*tgate scandal, his yo-yoing weight and his possible new criminal identity as the "phantom p*sser" in the Stern Show staff bathroom. A pool of urine was discovered in the recently sandblasted lieu, and Sabean was the last one to use it. Hear audio from Tim Sabean's "State of the Station" address here
3. Joan Rivers in studio: Joan Rivers made her 39,029th appearance on the Howard Stern Show Wednesday, promoting her E! couture b*tchfest "Fashion Police". Rivers rehashed stories about near-sex with Mick Jagger, her inability to talk about her feud with Chelsea Handler and chomped on Cupcake Wednesday nosh with audible glee.
