The Howard Stern Show for Monday, February 25, 2013 featured the following highlights:
1. Howard's Oscars review: Howard Stern spent a healthy portion of Monday morning's show dissecting Sunday night's 85th Annual Academy Awards broadcast. Stern gave host Seth MacFarlane a positive review, chastising his critics:
“I thought he was good," said Stern. "I don’t know what people were expecting. He made me laugh way more than Anne Hathaway and that dude James Franco…I thought the boob song was good. I thought some of his monologue jokes were funny.”
Stern's favorite Oscars moment was one that didn't make any of the highlight reels.
“The best part of the night for me was when Travolta came out with that hairpiece," said Stern. "And everyone was thinking the same thing. Like: ‘Wow, is that the best he can do with the money he’s got?’…This one, you could see where they put the webbing in the front. I don’t know, man
2. David Arquette in the Oscars press room: Former Howard Stern Show intern and long time Celebrity Superfan David Arquette represented the King of All Media in the official Oscars press room in Hollywood Sunday night. It took months of footwork, and some serious commitment from Arquette to pull off his role as professional paparazzo, and he was cut off after only one question. 3. Stern Show Newlyweird Game: The Newlyweird Game was back with all new contestants from the Stern Show staff. This edition featured couples Benjy Bronk and Elisa Jordana, Ronnie Mund and his girlfriend Stephanie, and Sal Governale and his wife Christine. Ronnie and Stephanie took home the top prize after correctly matching answer on the one person Ronnie would most want to have sex with outside their relationship.
