Radio talk show host Howard Stern says that ABC's daytime yammer-fest The View is "unwatchable".
The quote came during Stern's interview with TV chef Sam Zien, who became an internet and Howard Stern Show superstar after losing his patience with Kathie Lee Gifford on The Today Show and asking her to please stop talking over him.
Howard Stern compared Zien's Today Show experience to what he sees every time he has attempted to watch The View. Stern states he was unable to watch more than a few minutes of the estrogen-fueled chat fest because he was unable to understand what anyone was saying while they talked over each other.
Stern then played a clip of The View brood "interviewing" Republican talking head Ann Coulter while all five co-hosts talking over each other and Coulter at the same time and then assured his audience: "This is a real clip. This is not doctored."
Howard Stern also stated that his wife Beth Ostrosky Stern has witnessed the wailing banshees of The View for herself, up close and personal. 'Beth O' has appeared as a guest co-host on The View and told her hubby Howard Stern that the women are encouraged to talk over each other to create some sort of coffee table chaos that research has shown to be compelling to the viewer.
This isn't the first time that Howard Stern has slammed The View. In the past, Howard Stern has publicly ridiculed Sherri Shepherd for stating that she's not sure if the world is round and frequently refers to the entire The View cast as "yentas".

Horse Face would kill to be on the View or any other show that would have her. As bad as they are they all look like brain surgeons compared to Beth Ho.
I cannot fathom why anyone would be a lizzie hasselbeck fan, and personally I can no longer tolerate watching the show thanks to the "cross talk" especially if it is all a hoax and the "fighting" is fabricated for ratings.
It is obvious that lizzie is a half wit and is not educated, especially when people have done written articles on her that declare she did not vote prior to the view. her act is not exactly award winning on the view. her and sherri relying on their blue cards to ask the mundane questions of their guests is disturbing.
