Howard Stern retirement threats mocked by AP
Howard Stern was the subject of an Associated Press article released Tuesday afternoon entitled "Stern's threat to quit Sirius could be empty talk".

Associated Press reporter Deborah Yao wrote of Howard Stern's threat to leave Sirius XM:
"That threat probably seems less daunting to Sirius than it once would have. Sirius originally wanted Stern so badly that it gave him the most lucrative radio contract ever, a five-year deal that started in 2006 and paid him $500 million in cash and stock. Today, he doesn't have many places left to go — at least if he wants another huge payday."
If Howard Stern weren't on vacation for the next two weeks, Ms. Yao might have scored the unique honor of getting her journalisitic integrity ripped to shreds by Howard Stern on-air, but by the time the Howard Stern Show returns live on January 4th, the King of All Media will have bigger fish to fry. Howard Stern Show fans are currently experiencing a two-week long nail biter in anticipationg of the January 4th announcement of whether co-host Artie Lange will return to the show.

Yeah, I have a bug up my ass about this too.
Gerry--I know RIIIIIIIIGHT? She's probably just trying to get talked about on the show, but like most people that report on Stern, knows absolutely NOTHING about him, including the fact that he's on vacation for the next two weeks. DOUCHE!

She's biased. Howard OWNS all his content..and he has a very loyal fan base in the millions that will follow. He has options. For example He can do his own gig with a substription based service like Podcasts and internet radio. He has 2 channels of programing right now that is currently streaming on Iphones and over the internet, a OnDemand TV Network on cable providers across the country. For me, what ever opton he chooses..it would be that place charging my Credit card
Stern retired a long time ago. He's irrelevant.
Glad my computer got fixed so I can now post comments without crashing. I was terrified of not being able to type all my important thoughts here for everyone to read.
