Howard Stern turned the tables in the American Idol debate on Thursday morning by saying that he's not willing to work with Ellen Degeneres.
Stern made the statement during a rant about American Idol's Wednesday night live competition. "Now that I've seen her on the show I won't work with her," said Stern on Thursday morning's Howard Stern Show broadcast. "She's like the kiss of death for that show."

Shortly after rumors broke that Howard Stern was being considered as a replacement for Simon Cowell in American Idol's Season 10, Ellen Degeneres reportedly made it known to Fox executives that she would quit if Stern was hired.

Howard Stern has lambasted Degeneres ruthlessly on air since the story came out, and referred to the daytime talk show queen turned American Idol judge as "mean" and "ugly".

On Wednesday, Howard Stern said that Ellen Degeneres was "disturbing to look at" and. Since then, Howard Stern Show cast members and callers have compared Degeneres to a Keebler Elf, a resident of Middle Earth and MAD magazine spokesfigure Alfred E. Neuman.
Howard Stern hasn't been impressed with the rest of the judging panel either: "Like even for a $100 million I don't even know if I want to be a judge on that show. The judges are the most distrubing thing on the show".
