Howard Stern was all compliments for Oprah Winfrey after her in-depth interview with Tonight Show prodigal son Jay Leno.
Howard Stern played nearly 40 minutes of clips from the Oprah Winfrey-Jay Leno interview, peppering the soundbytes with mini-rants in which he called Leno a "scuzz, a maniac, obsessed, nuts and a weasel-and-a-half."
Howard Stern said he was so fascinated by the interview that he even tuned in to 'Oprah Online' after the broadcast to watch additional footage.
Stern, who has been a vocal critic of Winfrey in the past, opened Monday morning's Howard Stern Show broadcast by saying: "She did a very good job. She let that j--koff talk, and boy did he come off bad."
Last week, Howard Stern predicted that Oprah Winfrey would pitch Jay Leno a softball interview and let him use the broadcast to recreate himself in his own former "good guy" image.
Howard Stern remembered his own experience getting the boot from NBC, and said there was no way he would have bent over for the network the way that Jay Leno had. "I had zero dollars. Zero in the bank. Nothing. If they'd called me I would have said f--- you."
Five minutes later, Howard Stern launched into a rant about Oprah Winfrey's neglectful treatment of her own Sirius XM channel. Stern has stated repeatedly that he feels that Oprah Winfrey offers Sirius XM very little publicity and pulls in almost no subscribers, but draws a massive paycheck.

If Leno came off like the douchebag that he is, I might have to watch some clips.
