Sirius XM reportedly offered Bubba the Love Sponge a "take it or leave it" contract renewal deal with an 80% pay cut. The offer sent the corpulent talk jock on a Twitter rampage, instructing his fans to cancel their Sirius XM subscriptions and follow him to his new internet radio platform RadioIo.

Bubba also trashed Sirius XM in the press, saying that executives are slashing salaries for real radio talent and saving the big bucks for celebrity radio novices like Oprah Winfrey, Martha Stewart an Jamie Foxx.
The Howard Stern Show receives complaint calls about Bubba the Love Sponge's absence almost daily, and Stern is complimentary of his work every time.
"He does a great job and he’s a great guy," said Stern Tuesday. "I’m not giving up yet."
