Howard Stern presided over an extensive debate over patent rights between two women who both claim to have invented a device that disguises the female lumpy-crotch phenomenon commonly referred to as "cameltoe". The creator of a product called
Camel Ammo debated the creator of a product called
Camelflage on Tuesday morning's Howard Stern Show broadcast. Searches for both products reached the Google Top 40 trends shortly afterwards.
Treger Strasberg claims to have applied for the patent for her Camel Ammo panty-insert in February 2008 while a woman known only as "Shannon" states that she applied for the patent for CamelFlage two months later. Strasberg told Howard Stern Show fans that it was Shannon's responsibility to perform a due diligence search of similar products before launching her own patent. Howard Stern entertained a call from a patent attorney who stated that the application date for the patent won't ultimately determine who wins the patent.
The Camel Ammo vs. Camelflage debate was far from over by the time The Howard Stern Show wrapped on Tuesday morning, and Howard 100 News reporter will follow the outcome of the story to it's bitter end.
