Howard Stern: 'let me sum up why people hate Anne Hathaway' (Photos)

Howard Stern weighed in on the 2013 SAG Awards Monday morning by ripping into Best Supporting Actress winner Anne Hathaway for delivering yet another insanely pretentious acceptance speech.

Hathaway snagged the SAG Award for her performance as Fantine in the film adaptation of the Broadway musical "Les Miserables". Stern said he's a fan of Hathaway and called her a "great actress" but offered this explanation of the backlash against her latest success:

“Let me sum up why people hate Anne Hathaway...First of all. She gets a speechwriter to write her speech...She’s overly dramatic at these awards shows."

Stern played a clip of Hathaway's acceptance speech and then continued:

"She’s always, always out of breath…It’s perfect,...cause this award is called "The Actor”. She’s even acting when she’s winning an award. This is a performance...Calm f**king down and stop acting crazy…It’s a sh**ty award…You know how sh**ty this award is? Baba Booey voted in this.”

In spite of his distaste for Hathaway's attempts to sound humble, Stern repeatedly praised Hathaway for her performance on "Saturday Night Live" in 2012.
