Howard Stern has a gun
December 27, 2009: Howard Stern was number one on the New York Post's list of famous NYC gun owners in an article published Sunday, December 27th.
The NY Post article, which focused on Bernie Madoff's son Andrew Madoff scoring a pistol permit despite punching out a co-worker in the street last January, included of other famous New Yorkers "Packing Heat".
Howard Stern topped the list of those NYC celebrities carrying a gun permit. The also included director Barry Levinson, comedian Pat Cooper, "The" Donald Trump, Fox News weenie Sean Hannity and actor Harvey Keitel, the "Bad Lieutenant" himself. (Yikes.)
Perhaps the most amusing inclusion the Post's "Packing Heat" list? Longtime Howard Stern Show enemy Don Imus. It seems those velour fringe holsters are packing real live six-shooters after all.
Howard Stern has been a vocal advocate of responsible gun ownership, frequently citing his commitment to protecting his family from the "nuts" out there. Got that potential stalkers? Or in the words of Howard Stern: "Y'UNDERSTAND?!"
