Howard Stern was ready to cancel his show and stop being the shock-jock to the masses if anything had happened to Robin Quivers. Robin, who is really like Stern’s other wife, has been with him for so long, that Howard just wouldn’t have known what to do without her, according to Extra on Sept. 12.

Robin offered up the good news to Stern while on the air, “I am cancer free,” she went to the doctor and she was told her “cancer is gone,” Robin said on the Howard Stern show. It was Beth Stern, Howard’s wife who stopped to talk with reporters today and revealed just how distraught her husband was while Robin was fighting her battle with cancer.

She told the media that Howard seriously contemplated giving up the show if something happened to Robin and she didn’t come back. Anyone who has seen the movie about Howard Stern knows how long Robin and Howard have been a professional couple.

There were times during their career where one would refuse to work without the other. Robin is such a big part of the show and Stern’s life, that fans can understand why Howard thought of giving it all up if he were left without Robin. Thankfully he won’t have to make that decision as Robin’s back and cancer-free!
