Howard Stern says that he can "empathize" with the plight of suspended ESPN radio host Tony Kornheiser.
Tony Kornheiser was suspended from ESPN Radio for two weeks after making derogatory comments about the appearance of ESPN television commenator Hannah Storm during a recent broadcast of his show "Pardon the interruption". Kornheiser was quoted as saying
''Hannah Storm in a horrifying, horrifying outfit today. She's got on red go-go boots and a Catholic-school plaid skirt. ... Way too short for somebody in her 40s or maybe early 50s by now. She's got on her typically very, very tight shirt. She looks like she has sausage casing wrapping around her upper body. I know she's very good, and I'm not supposed to be critical of ESPN people, so I won't. But Hannah Storm, come on now! Stop! What are you doing?''
Howard Stern commented on Kornheiser's suspension during his Wednesday morning satellite radio broadcast:
"You know, he's on the radio for like a couple hours and he's trying to make something interesting happen, and so I guess that's considered sexist and wrong. So now I guess he's been suspended for two weeks for commenting on how she looked, which, I guess...for that type of radio that is inappropriate or something, but I just empathize with anyone who has to be on the radio for five hours and you're trying to make something interesting, and give your real opinions, and then the second you give your real opinions, everybody f---ing comes down on you."
Not only that, Howad Stern said that Tony Kornheiser's analysis of Hannah Storm's outfit was right on target: "Quite frankly he's right. I'm looking at the picture."

She is way too skinny to make an outfit like that sexy.
I think maybe it was a nice matching red outfit before airtime, but perhaps something got spilled on it and all she had handy was that dish towel to wrap around herself.
