Howard Stern kicked off his first show back from vacation lamenting the death of Apple co-creator Steve Jobs, and pointing the finger at global environmental pollution as a contributor to Jobs' ultimate demise.

Stern is a hardcore fan of Apple products and has been calling on the world's great medical minds to hurry up and find a cure since Jobs announced he was battling pancreatic cancer in 2004. Stern made a rare appearance on Twitter on Wednesday, October 5th shortly after the announcement of Jobs' death, stating:
"Steve Jobs was a true original. So sad. A tremendous loss."
Monday though, as Stern mused on the inventions the world might have seen if Jobs had lived to a ripe old age, the radio host pointed to our toxic living environment as at least one of the culprits in Jobs' death.
“He got cancer. Who knows why. This cancer it’s so out of control, I really do believe it’s our environment. We have such pollution. I walked into a room the other day—they must have been cleaning with some kind of weird chemical. You breathe this stuff in—it’s got to have an effect on you…Somebody died—they were spraying for those bedbugs…Some guy dropped dead he breathed in that bedbug crap. Look, I’m telling you, they got so many weird things in the environment—that’s why we’ve all got cancer. Everybody’s got it. It’s unbelievable what’s going on with this cancer. You can’t avoid it. It’s out of f***ing control.”
Howard Stern has become a vocal advocate for environmental conservation in recent years, especially since hooking up with his second wife, animal rescue advocate Beth Ostrosky Stern.
