Howard Stern approves new Spiderman trailer (watch it here)

Howard Stern has given his stamp of approval to the newly released trailer for 'The Amazing Spiderman'.

The latest incarnation of the web-wielding superhero franchise features 'The Social Network' star Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker and 'The Help' star Emma Stone as his love interest.

"I loved it. I thought the trailer was great," said Stern Wednesday. "The girl who plays the love interest is much better looking than Kirsten Dunst...She's the chick that's got those bucky teeth...whatever her name is--Emma Stone...She kind of annoys the s**t out of me, Emma Stone...Maybe she just makes me think of Gary [Dell'Abate]...But she's way better looking and probably more interesting than Kirsten Dunst."

The trailer drew mixed reviews from critics who say no one can out-Spider Tobey MacGuire, but Stern says he's got no problem giving Garfield his day in the Spider-sun. Stern is a huge comic book fan and regularly reviews superhero-themed films and television shows on his satellite radio broadcast.
