Howard Stern is a proud papa once again.
Howard Stern finally gave in to his wife Beth Ostrosky Stern's demands that they adopt a homeless cat from her favorite charity, the North Shore Animal League on Long Island.
"She put her foot down," said Howard Stern.
"Beth O" has stated in the past that she's not interested in having "human babies" with the King of All Media, but that she has plans for a house-full of homeless animals to make up for her otherwise empty nest.
The lucky furball is an adult cat named 'Apple' who was dumped at the North Shore Animal League in a box and spent five months nervously chewing her fur in a cage until her angel Beth Ostrosky swept in to turn things around--in a big way.
Apple Stern has gone from a cramped cage to Howard Stern's luxury Manhattan apartment. Apple's also getting the Florence Nightengale treatment from Beth around the clock. "I didn't see Beth all weekend. she's in the room with the cat. Workin' on the cat."
Robin Quivers called said that the new addition makes Howard Stern's clan "the perfect family".
"She needs a little tender loving care," said Howard Stern. "We'll fatten her up."
It's estimated that 4 million homeless animals are euthanized in the United States every year.

North Shore Animal League is the lowest rated animal charity in the entire state of New York according to CharityNavigator.org. Beth is the spokeshorse for a sham charity.
