The Howard Stern Show has only 15 contracted broadcasts left and there's still no news about what will happen after December 17th.
Executive Producer Gary "Baba Booey" Dell'Abate grilled Stern for a contract negotiations update Monday morning.

"I wish I could say to you 'I'm not returning' or 'Here's where we're going,'" said Stern. "I am sorry that I don't have some sort of resolution on this. I really truly am. I do feel bad about that."

Stern did offer some vague confirmation that he's planning to continue the Show somewhere else if a deal can't be worked out with Sirius XM.
The comment came after Dell'Abate asked Stern to put the mids of his staff at ease. The Howard Stern Show crew are currently only scheduled to draw two more paychecks before the Stern's contract runs out.
"Is there a chance that on December 16th that you will say to all of us: 'Guys I love you. I'm trying my best, but at this point you guys need to go look for something else'?" asked Dell'Abate.
The Howard Stern Show: is this the end?
"No," said Howard Stern firmly. "Nope. Now, I don't know that that's 100% right but I don't think that's going to happen."
He then added jokingly: "I'm not going to say I love you. I know I feel weird about that."

Stern said that the Show's future could still be up in the air during the "final" broadcast. "I can tell you this: on the 16th of December I might not have an answer for you."
If Howard Stern doesn't re-up with Sirius XM, he is expected to broadcast his show via podcast or Pandora, an internet radio service.
"I'm actively putting things together," said Stern of his alternate plans.

Howard WILL re-sign . he wants a lighter schedule , if he sets up his own station for podcast/internet or whatever he will be working 100 hours per week because he is a perfectionist. stay at Sirius? Easier!!!
