How to turn your PS3 and Xbox 360 into a 8-bit HD gaming arcade system

Sick of playing all the new release HD games on your PS3 or Xbox 360 yet? Probably not. But if you happen to need a break from that and would like to take a trip into the past, Capcom Arcade is here to help.

Starting February 19th until early May, you will have the ability to purchase 15 HD arcade titles from 1984-1988. You will be able to purchase these select titles digitally in a pack or separately if you just want to try one out first. Though if you do decide to purchase all 15 titles when they get released, there will be a special bonus for you; you will gain access to two bonus games for free! Free sounds good doesn't it?

But if you decide to only buy one game, you won't be left out in the dust. If you happen to download just one title or different packs, you will gain access to Capcom Arcade Cabinet platform' which provides these additional features below:

  • DIP Switch Functionality (Adjusts the number of lives and difficulty settings for different titles)
  • A Music Player
  • The Ability to Capture and Share Screenshots or Video
  • Two player online play (Certain titles)
  • Global Leaderboard
  • Training Mode (Infinite lives to help you learn how to play the games if you don't remember)
  • Option to select the Japanese or the international versions of the game.
  • Share your experiences with your friends. (PS3 users can capture videos of gameplay and post it on YouTube) (Xbox 360 users can upload screenshots to Facebook.)

Sounds super exciting doesn't it? Curious to know what titles are going to be released and the dates that they will be released on?
