Grossing nearly $500 million worldwide at the box office, the original 2010 film has sparked toy lines, video games, and even a TV series on Cartoon Network called “Dragons: Riders of Berk” (which recently closed out its second season). How to Train Your Dragon 2 will open in D.C. theaters on June 14 of next year. Expect it to open at local Regal and AMC theaters. For more information about the film, visit it’s official website, follow DreamWorks’ Twitter feed, or check out it’s official Facebook page.
