How to Stay Motivated to Work out During Winter

Well, you can never know what ‘weather gods’ are up to in the Midwest. Winter is defiantly in full swing here with a little over 6 inches of snow on the ground. It makes me excited to pull out my full sleeve stuff. Anyways, so how do you feel about you workout in winters? Excited or already lazy? For me, I like working out in winters more. Why you should love your winter workout sessions? Read on to find out. Firstly, you do not drain completely after a workout in winters as you do in summers. We get moderate sweat in winters. I like it more as compared to summers; there is no sweat drips stuff in winters. The most important fact about working out in winters is that it keeps us warm. The best way to beat the shiver is to go for a run and not cuddling up a little more in the quilt. Working out does not really make me feel it is winters, the other times I am just busy shivering. Workout keeps us active in winter days as compared to no workout. I know, I understand it is extremely difficult to give up the bond you have established with your blanket overnight but if you are successful in that and are able to reach your workout field; then the rest of the day you will neither feel too cold nor dormant. Trust me. You can work out outdoors at almost any time of the day. Unlike summers, you do not have to finish your workout before the sun take a toll on you, or you do not have to wait till 5.30/6 for sun to disappear for your evening workout to take place.

You can actually plan to run/ cycle/jog or anything alike any time of the day. Most bike paths and running paths in the parks are shoveled or plowed if you are going to run on the side of the road be aware of your surroundings and make sure to wear bright colors. Working out in winters keep your feet swellings at bay. I have serious fat feet in winters due to the cold. If you give up working out in winter months, how are you going to flaunt your body in the marriages in February and March?jokes apart, you seriously cannot let your health goals go on in a hibernation state for the winter months. Because if you do so, you will lose almost 1/4th of your year and that takes you far from your goals that you might have wanted to achieve in that particular year. Above all, if you seriously want a good body, you have to work out all around the year and that is what will give you results. Wish you happy winters and may you achieve your goals this time.
