How to: See the Nationals using transit

WMATA's special Nationals map

Baseball season is here and it's not whether the Nationals win or lose but how you get to the game.

Hopefully it's by taking transit, which will save you the headache of driving, parking, and sitting in traffic. Getting there is easy. Just remember if you're going to drive to a station, you'll have to pay for parking at Metro.

Metro Navy Yard on the Green Line is the closest station to Nationals Stadium. Exit at SE M and Half Streets. Walk approximately one block to South Capitol Street SE and turn left on South Capitol and follow it (and the legions of fans) to the stadium. The distance is half a mile.

Metrobus You can reach the stadium taking the following lines: 70, P1, P2, V7, V8, V9

Circulator The Capitol Hill route will take fans to the stadium. There have been some complaints that with multiple routes, the Circulator is confusing. This route runs from Union Station to Navy Yard Memorial. Fare for the Circulator is $1 and buses are scheduled every 10 minutes. This route usually runs until 9 p.m. but will run later on game day.
