Home viewing doesn't do lot of movies justice, unless you have a private screening room. Watching Transformers 3 or Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows Part II on a tiny screen isn't the same. Besides, who wants to wait weeks to for these to be released on DVD? If you're on a budget, or want to save some bank, think outside the box. Join Gofobo for complimentary passes to advance screenings of some of the best movies in town. It's free, so register here.

Studios allow Gofobo to offer passes to members in two ways. Sometimes an exclusive invitation is sent to a member's e-mail address. These invites are only for the e-mail recipient and are not meant to be shared. Respond immediately. Invites are typically emailed with little advance notice and only a limited number of people can attend. The invites contain a link that will have an “embedded” code. Click on it to start the screening RSVP process and download a pass.

You can also score free tickets by regularly checking the site to see if passes are availalbe in your zip code. Again, there is little advance notice, so go with the flow. Arrive early. Gofobo passes are first come, first serve. There is no guaranteed seating, and studios try to pack the theatre to capacity.

Watch for possible invites to Horrible Bosses and Zookeeper.

Now, that's a screen saver!
