PHOENIX, AZ - Have you ever had a dropped call on your mobile phone? Searching for cell tower locations helps to ensure you know the best service spots.
We've all heard about the Phoenix cell phone tower controversy. If you haven't, read my article for details. The more cell towers available, the better reception everyone receives.
Type "cellreception.com" into your Internet browser's address bar.
Scroll to the middle of the screen and type your city into the city field and then click on the state drop down field to select the state. These fields are located in the "Find Cell Tower Locations" section.
HINT: You may type in a specific zip code in the zip code field in the "Cell Phone Coverage Search" area to receive the same results.
Click on the "Go" button to receive search results. The results provide a list of all cell phone towers in the city you have searched.
If your provider is AT&T, you may want to click on the "AT&T Towers" link to sort the results for AT&T cell towers only. Scroll down to see a map of the AT&T cell locations.
Zoom in or out on the map to receive the results desired.
Search for cell tower locations when traveling and you'll have a better idea of when to make those important calls.
