Need plans for Valentine's day? Bay Area designer Alexandria von Bromssen is hosting her fifth annual LoveSick runway fashion show in San Francisco entitled "Clinically Attracted", dedicated to those who can't commit to getting committed. Von Bromssen will showcase her latest edgy, fashionable ready-to-wear collection in the highly anticipated runway show along with local designers Amy Fink, Miranda Caroligne, Kathleen van der Spek, Rebecca Roman, Josie Adele, Benzo Couture, Velvet & Horns and Danielle Pettee.
To top it off, the event will also have live music from The Goldenhearts and a special performance by artist Bad Unkle Sista. A portion of the ticket proceeds will benefit the Race for the Cure Foundation and the Hastings Prison Outreach Program. Tickets went on sale January 14th and are expected to sell out
So don't feel sorry for yourself because you don't have Valentine's Day plans. Celebrate your fashionable self and commit to getting "Clinically Attracted".
LoveSick 5 is taking place on Tuesday, February 14, 2012, from 7:00 pm to 10:00 at Mighty (119 Utah Street, San Francisco). Ticket cost is $25. Doors open at 7:00 pm with a trunk show and DJ'd music. The band Goldenhearts perform at 8:00 pm. The fashion show starts at 9:15 pm.
