Seventeen-year-old Lucy is staying at her grandparents' tiny cabin in northern Minnesota for the summer. Her best friend, Mikayla is living with her. Their friend, Ava, unexpectedly joins them later in the summer.
Mikayla is working at the exclusive Bridgeport Beach Club. Lucy is working at her grandparents' apple orchard store with a guy named Jackson. Jackson rejected her when she tried to kiss him three years ago.
One day, Jackson almost hit Mikayla with his car when she was riding her bike. Mikayla didn't know this was the same guy who worked with Lucy. Mikayla and Jackson hit it off. Mikayla was thrilled, because this was the first guy she didn't have trouble talking to.
Lucy was not happy when she found out Mikayla and Jackson were dating. To make matters worse, Lucy's mother is getting remarried and she wants Lucy to help her plan the wedding. Will Lucy have any fun this summer?
