If you think yourself as hippy you probably fall under the same body type as Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez. Spend time on a stairmaster if you want to keep your hips, rears, and tummies under control. Wrap tops and dresses are perfect for your body type. Also, dark-colored bottoms and lighter-colored tops keep you visually balanced.
Here are some tips that will help even out your proportions and conceal wide hips and larger thighs:
- Choose wide-leg pants and A-line skirts to visually lengthen your legs and balance out wide hips. It will instantly smooth away bulges, flatten tummy, lift your rear, and balance your hips.
- Try tops that have necklines with added embellishments, to draw eyes away from hips and thighs. You might consider buying a tunic with an embellished neckline which will conceal your hips and rear.
- Empire and wrap-style dresses will accentuate your waist and enhance your bust to balance out your full bottom. Avoid tight fitting dresses that will only make your hips and thighs look bigger.
- My favorite shapewear recommendation to you is a high waist control capri that will slim your waist and thighs. You can find great shapewear from Spanx at many major department stores. For those of you on a budget try a less expensive brand like Assets which can be found at Target.

The tips are very good. But I wish they had used a model with more hips in the video.
